This two day weekend course will be taking an in-depth look into doing just this.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eConducted online over a weekend sessions are scheduled for two hours. Ian will present analysis of the way certain models are drawn, showing the way the Byzantine icon 'distorts' reality. Part of the session will be 'draw along' and there will be time to do so with tutor support. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is an excellent opportunity for those who want to start learning how to draw an icon in a Byzantine style as well as for experienced iconographers who want to make substantial improvements. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will need paper, tracing paper, compass, ruler, pencil plus a print out of the Seed of Life (which will be sent to you).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSessions will be live. You will be able to ask questions as we go along, and I may reference material from the Icon Painter's Handbook. Sessions will be recorded and you will have unrestricted access to them.
