Module Four Pt 2: The Festal Icon of the Annunciation - Backgrounds, Buildings and Perspective

We will continue our journey into the wonders of the festal icons, in particular the Annunciation. Having looked at the Archangel Gabriel, we now look a the composition, landscape and buildings. All of these are handled in a very particular way within iconography.

In this Module we are not working on a common icon model, but looking at various sources and seeing how they can inspire a new design. This really is for those with some good foundations. This is a substantial Module of some eight sessions.
