Module Three Pt 1: Icon of Our Lady Kykkotissa - The Design

In this first part of Module Three we are introduced to the human figure seated and clothed, both a female adult and the Christ Child.

This builds on the previous two Modules and assumes a degree of knowledge about drawing techniques, and understanding the iconic face. While it is focused on this sitting figure of the Virgin Mary hold Christ, it provides an opportunity to look at the human figure, proportions, geometric design, and how to do garments.
