Icon Painting Course: Archangel Raphael (recording)

I create this icon of the Archangel Raphael by sketching the initial drawing with pencil, painting in monochrome, as well as painting full-colour in egg tempera to examine how the face is painted in Byzantine icons. 

This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to start learning how to paint an icon in a Byzantine style. It was originally given live and includes questions from participants. 

I reference material from the Icon Painter's Handbook which has lots of links to support the processes demonstrated. Sessions will be recorded and you will have unrestricted access to them.
