Module Three, Pt 2: Icon of Our Lady Kykkotissa - Painting the Icon in Egg Tempera

In this second part of Module Three we will focus on painting garments as well as looking at painting the faces and limbs shown in the icon, notably hands. This will be illustrated by demonstrations from painting this icon of the Kykkotissa.

Eight sessions which take you through painting garments in detail,

with a membrane under painting and careful layering with 'highlights'.

Painting the throne is also addressed.

This builds on the previous  Modules, especially Module 3 Part 1.
